On Friday, October 13, Boston Bike Party will be rolling through the streets pitching skeletons against Cinderella, headless horsemen vs Rapunzel, and ghosts & goblins over Hansel & Gretel. Who will prevail in Scary vs Fairy Tales?
Here are some costume ideas to help assure your favorite makes it to the ride!
Be a part of the story and ride with Boston Bike Party in this delightfully spooky fantasy. Attach wings or a cape to your back, and we will roll together the stories that warm our hearts and chill our bones.
Grip your handlebars as we explore these gripping tales that lead us through haunted neighborhoods & enchanted underpasses. When our quest has been completed, we will crown the night with an epic after party along Carson Beach!
So turn off lights & turn on the party! Ride happily ever after with Boston Bike Party on Friday October 13th!

STARTING AT FRANKLIN SQUARE IN THE SOUTH END
The next Boston Bike Party is Friday, September 8th!
Ride with Boston Bike Party as we GLOW across Cambridge & Somerville on Friday, September 8. Whether you’re a jock on the sports field, a glam-rocker, a jazzerciser, or a Trekkie, it’s time to bust out the most synthetically fabulous of all clothing: SPANDEX!
Be a part of our fluorescent and neon streak as we rewind our mixtape back to the 80s and book-it down the streets.
We’ll make stops along the way for everyone to show off their best moves as we warm up for a final round of dancing at our rad outdoor after-party near Assembly Square. The fun will stretch deep into the night!
Wrestle through your closet to find a lycra leotard, some sparkling stockings, or whatever else makes you feel ravishingly radiant!**
July 14th Boston Bike Party will make a big splash in East Boston!
Join us as we leave the mainland in a tidal wave of bikes, music, & dancing as we dive deep into the underwater world. We’ll leave behind a trail of bubbles, laughter, and contamination free party stops.
So come ride the riptide with us for a few nautical miles and resurface for epic dance parties on the shore. Be sure to inflate your floaties (and your bike tires) so you’re ready to submerge yourself in fun!
Boston Bike Partiers grew up all over the world, so this month we’re celebrating your Hometown Pride!
Dig up your old high school chess champion t-shirt; show your support for your childhood little league team, or bring something from your country to display with pride! We’ll be celebrating our diverse origins but riding together as one open community: Boston Bike Party!

This summer, Boston Bike Party is changing things up!
Gather your favorite road trip playlists, dig out your maps, and pack some snacks ’cause we’re bringing the love to five new starting locations this summer! That’s right: we’re taking a vacation from Copley and beginning our ride in different spots this May, June, July, August and September.
Our tour stops this summer will be: May 12: Jamaica Plain June 9: Allston July 14: East Boston Aug 11: Dorchester Sept 8: Cambridge/Somerville
As always, we will be sharing all the details as they are planned. Specific meet up spots will be announced a few weeks before each ride!
So please follow us on Facebook & Twitter to stay up-to-date on all important ride details, and check this website for slightly slower announcements.
This month we’re celebrating our lovely earth and invite you and your bike to reduce, reuse and re-CYCLE! Spending too much time on the couch rather than coming out to bike party? Reduce! Have a sweet bike party costume you’ve been looking for an excuse to wear? Reuse! Have some soda cans that could look great on a bike wheel? Or cardboard boxes that need to be turned into bike-riding robots? Re-CYCLE!
*** Boston Bike Party loves creative, thematic costumes, but also encourages participants to be conscientious of the potential for cultural appropriation and to reflect before choosing what you wear or display. ***
With that said, here’s your Lookbook to get the gears revolvin’ . . .
